Math 7A & 7G: There will be a Unit 3A Test on Monday.  You need to know how to Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide and do Order of Operations with Decimals, as well as round numbers to the nearest tenth or hundredth for your Test.

Math 9A: The Exponent Worksheet is due on Monday.  The Unit 2 Test will be on Thursday (hopefully this is the last time we move it).

Math 9B: Pages 84-85 #4-12, 14, 15, 19 and 20 due Monday.  The  Unit 2 Test will be on Thursday.

There is NO school tomorrow due to the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Math 9A & 9B: We started looking at exponent laws on pages 76-78 Round 1 # 4, 7, 11, 12, 17, 20 and Round 2 #6, 9, 13-15, 18, 19, 21.  We will work on these practice questions next class.

Tonight is the Meet the Teacher BBQ.  Please come introduce your parents/guardians to your teachers and enjoy a hotdog and juice box.

Math 7A: We will continue to work on pages 106-107 #2-5, 7, 8, 9ab, 10 and 13 next class.

Math 7G: We did a long division review today and will tackle dividing decimals next class.

Math 9A: We began Unit 2: Powers and Exponent Laws today.  We did pages 55-57 #2-22 omit #17 for practice and then moved along to 2.2: Powers of 10 and the Zero Exponent.  We will continue to work with section 2.2 next class.

Math 9B: We will continue to work on pages 55-57 #2-22 omit #17 next class.

There is a Meet-The-Teacher BBQ on Wednesday, Sept 14 from 5-7pm.  

There is a PD day on Friday, so there is no school for students.

Math 7A: We handed in the 3.4 worksheet today and did some long division review.  We will begin working with dividing decimals next class.

Math 7G: Worksheet 3.4 due Tuesday if you haven't already handed it in.

Math 9A: We wrote the Unit 1A Test today.  We will begin Unit 2: Exponent Laws next class.

Math 9B: We wrote the Unit 1A Test today, with a fire drill interruption in the middle. More time will be given next class for those that need it and we will begin Unit 2: Exponent Laws next class.

 Math 7G: We will take 25 min or so of time on Monday to finish up the 3.4 Worksheet.

Math 9A & 9B: We will be doing the Unit 1A Test on Monday.  Please use the textbook Mid-Unit review on page 21 as well as the Unit Review on pages 45-46 #1-14 to help prepare for your test.  Remember to check your answers with the back of the textbook and we can answer any questions you have on Monday.

Math 7A: Worksheet 3.4 due Monday. No class on Friday due to the Cross Country Run at the Reservoir.

Math 7G: We wrote the MIPI today (diagnostic math test to let me know when students are at academically). We will continue to work with multiplying decimals next class.

Math 9A & 9B: We wrote the MIPI today (diagnostic math test to let me know when students are at academically).  The Unit 1A Test has been moved to Monday, Sept 12.  We will work on some more review for working with square roots next class.

9A: Please remember to bring/wear a hat (wacky hat, touque or ball cap) tomorrow.  If we all patriciate, we can have a chance at winning a Pizza Party!!!
